The wedding of my photo editor! The day of the wedding, which was in February, was so chilly! They opted not to have a first look, which made our timeline for portraits almost non-existent. I was in the wedding, so KJ, with the help of another, photographed the wedding itself. This Day After session actually took place a few months after the wedding. We were able to to capture so awesome things for these two love birds! Golden Hour is such a beautiful time to photograph, especially when you hit the light just right!
Day After Sessions
A Day After session is exactly what it sounds.Typically common with destination weddings, a day after session gives an opportunity to photograph the bride and groom in multiple locations wherever the wedding took place. Hair and makeup for the bride doesn’t have to be the exact same, it’s a looser session that give time for really cool portraits that a wedding day wouldn’t allow time for.The day after sessions are planned in advance, for travel schedules sake. With destination weddings, there are generally multiple places that the bride and groom love, but not enough time to hit them all! When planning a day after session, pick two or three locations that are must have places to go, anything else after that is a bonus!
